Is making a cat magnet possible? How would you make a bandage puller?

I am completly disgusted at the idea of using a magnet to find my cat. Sure I can become frustrated or even exasperated when unable to find my cat but to create a magnet strong enough to find it by putting a plate of metal in my pet is horrible. Maybe if a technology was created to attract cat fur instead of metal I might be more willing but still I'm not sure. Also why waste the time creating a bandage puller that wont help anymore than you pulling it yourself? Also I have found that rubbing alcohal works wonders as well as some other non-painful remadies.

As an animal lover and the owner of 3 cats, I am appalled that someone would suggest this kind of animal abuse.
For the cat magnet, you could put a metal thing in your cat through surgery and then get a VERY strong magnet. For the bandage puller, I haven't seen that yet
